Best Players on the team... Week 8

Pickney is clearly the best so far. His performance against FAU was golden era. We haven't seen a LB play at that level in a very long time.

Chad or Djax -- To be honest DJax has been very disruptive and even when he hasn't gotten to the QB he's had a couple nice shots that take their toll on the QB. Better at defending the run than thought too. He is better than Trent and I like Trent a lot.

Richards
I think our FB is the toughest, nastiest, meanest player on O and I LOVE IT. Someone said it earlier previously they can't wait to see him smashing into #6 for noles. Great find and what a "waiver wire transfer" should be.

T. Homer should be in any top 5. Dude balls out. Walton and Pinkney are there. Richards has been solid. DJack in it to win it. And Jaquan. If I gotta drop one dude from these six it's Richards but not by his own doing. OL play has been weak in terms of pass-protection.

No I apologize for not agreeing with you. Watching Jenkins get truck-sticked by a FAU RB clearly showed how great he is and how central he is to our team. Elder on the other hand picks off balls others would be lucky to swat away, and is a threat to take it to the house when returning punts. People were crying about Elder potentially leaving last year, and now that he's stayed we're on to the next flavor of the week.

Jenkins had good game despite the TD, and I don't have any issue with Elder at all!

I simply put Jenkins on my list not as a personal affront to Elder...

Corn and Walton are the two that have shown the athleticism and burst of Canes past. They've proven it over their careers thus far and continue to improve. How anyone else is even in this conversation is surprising. A lot of guys getting hype over FAU and FAMU performances.
 
From a fan's perspective this is good... to have different opinions on who is best... means there are a number of players impressing the fans... But from reality's perspective... none have been tested YET... they all have performed as they should have against our last two opponents. Saturday will be a better test still.

So, because Kayaa hasn't been able to get him the ball, Stacey Coley is no longer one of our Top 5 players?

Stacy Coley is one of the top 5 best players on the team but he can only go as far the QB. Hopefully Brad Kaaya can step up like everybody else is doing around him so our WRs can shine too.
 
Coley running out of bounds against FAU was shameful imo.

Shame on you, Stacy.
 
I would say our top 20-25 dudes on the roster are top 5 in the country caliber

Stacy has the most "talent" but Kayaa is still our best player.......he might not be starting out like we want him to but it's early in the season. all these so called fans knocking him now get back to me in November. Pinkney and Walton are a close 2 and 3
