I’m old enough to have seen as freshmen; Michael Irvin, Ray Lewis, Santana Moss (it was obvious), Duke Johnson, Ahmon Richards, and none of them were what Toney is as a freshman. Now they all kept getting better and better and all become great pros (we know what AR would have been), but as a freshman Toney is the best, and he was only 17 at the time we played that “scrimmage” against ND!
