Best Case Scenario

Same **** gets said every time a Corch is on the hot seat. There's always a group who says there's no way Corch ___ gets fired this year. Then, he flops and gets fired.

Make no mistake. If we flop this year and lose 4 our more he gone. The still proud UM fans will make sure of it.

problem is AG will not fire anyone. So this is wishful thinking. The only persons he has "fired" have been players

AD will force him to. And they have leverage after the PSU stunt he tried to pull.

LOL at our AD having any leverage over Golden. What kind of leverage do you think we have after Miami gave him an extension before he even finished his first calendar year under contract?

Who knows. There's always a buyout clause. We're not locked in for paying him $2 million plus for the next 6 years.

Again, do you have any idea how insanely high percentage of a buyout a coach who got an extension his first year on the job is likely going to be?

Golden's seat isn't even room temperature. Not even close.

If the team quits after Nebraska then I can see a scenario that Golden is fired. I guess we just wait and see. I don't see the Seniors quitting but most of the two deep are underclassmen, so it could very well happen. Really, really wish Golden had gone to PSU. That was our get out of jail free card.

I'm so tired of this bull**** line "he'll be here next year." It's said by Golden fans who can't even dare face the reality that their guy might be gone.

He's out the door at 7-5 and no Coastal title. He would have put up the exact same W/L total as Shannon in 4 years, who was also sown the door.

The Pitt game will be a ghost town, and if you think the fallout right now is bad, just wait until the losses start piling up. There are a lot of teams better than Louisville yet to come.

You and no one else has knowledge of his buyout. It may not even be possible to fire Golden after this year.

There's no way the people at UM committed to a contract they couldn't get out of. That's more dopey fan babble thinking UM would actually extend a Corch without planning for the possibility they'd have to fire him before the contract expired.

Highly paid smart people work on those contract details, and you'd be foolish to think no one said, "hey if we have to fire him before the contract expires can we afford the buyout and the next hire?".

This is south florida. When the fans and media turn on you here, you're not on the hot seat, it's a blazing inferno of impending termination. It's already starting. After 4 years of Al's bs, the players are going to be real quick to quit and when that happens this season is going to be an epic dumpster fire.
Exactly .The team quit at the end of last season and will quit again. They already got blown out by an average team where the deck was stacked in our favor. If we played UL at the end of this season with Parker healthy and Petrino clicking on all cylinders they'd beat us by 40.

He will be back, like or not.
Coley needs to be gone (he almost makes P. Nix look genius level)
How can Kehoe teach blocking when he can't block the extra portions from his dinner plate (Stoutland you're forgiven, you can come back now)
Hey brendan tell coley your receivers are able to do more then bubble screens and 5 yard in routes.
Nevin Shapiro found more open holes for our players than our O-Line. Hmmm Introducing our new jail break offense
I feel like as fans we have been under a cloud for a decade, only this cloud ****es on us
Anybody jumping on the FIU band wagon yet even if it has no wheels
The National Hurricane center has downgraded us to depression.

This team is going 8-4, which I still think golden should get fired. As the season progresses, Kayaa will get more comfortable and we will beat the teams like UVA,GT and so on. But yet the losses to UNC,VT and FSU should get him fired. No coach at Miami should keep his job if he loses to FSU 4 years in a row.

If it came to him being fired if he doesn't make the changes you suggest, you think he would leave the money and try to find another job based on his record at the U?

I also believe he will be here next year. And I agree that the best thing that could happen would be him being forced to fire both coordinators.

He is a smart guy. He has to see that if he fails here he will never coach a big time program again.

I might get torched for ths but I truly feel we might lose 5-6 games. Given our performance or lack thereof on Monday here is my prediction. We will lose vs Nebraska, V-Tech and FSU. thats four loses already. We can easily lose 1-2 more games vs. UNC, Virginia, and Pitt.

I truly hope I am wrong but I am out of optimism with this current staff. We have the players to win 10 games but we have the coaches to lose 5-6 games

We just lost to a below average UL team. Wait til we play Nebraska and FSU.

Teams that have a high probability of beating us are
UVA
VT
GT
UNC
Cincinnati
Duke (cause they follow the Nebraska game)

So next banner pre Duke game?

We asume he is smart enough to make the right decision but we see what he FAILED to do at the end of last years consecutive record setting defensive year

Where do y'all get this ***** from. It looked bad but that is all it did. There is zero proof made public at least that he was heavily courting the job so if the administration was going to use it as grounds for dismissal I think they would need to have more than, he didn't answer his phone over the weekend. However the AD doesn't need that to fire him...he only has to sit him down and force him to watch Monday's game and then is post game presser and then his next day teleconference. All of that in itself is grounds for the boot. At least its more tangible that what that Penn State thing "appeared" to be.

AD will force him to. And they have leverage after the PSU stunt he tried to pull.

No excuses this year.. This was said before the season.
If he can't figure out how to fix this crap and he's gets fired then Peace out.
Hope I'm wrong though.. Say what you want but the man put in a lot of work into the program and continues to do so through his recruiting.
Would suck if couldn't see his talent grab through because he didn't know how to correct things.

Best case scenario for Canes fans (not Golden slurtpers) is 2-9. 5-7 WILL get him fired.

Just dumb.

Double this guys salary and let him Coach the football team. We save money, and I guarantee we win Coastal.
