When have we ever had such poor return men? Why hasn't Chaney been back there ala Duke Johnson? The one thing every Cane fan remembers is return men like Devin Hester not the garbage we have now...it is disgusting we have not found anyone that can first catch the darn ball and then expect a big yardage return and at least a few TD's from returns each year. We lost the FL game last year because of a ST's fumble and lost an opportunity Tuesday because of another fumble and haven't been a threat in quite some time. Are our athletes that bad that they can't catch and return punts or is it something else?

I mean, what a fresh take? The return game besides Duke and Travis Benjamin has sucked hairy Butters' chinballs since Hester.

Yeah fielding has been horrible, and the speed really isn't there, but it also takes people to block.

Look no further than our Special Teams Coordinator. Patke, who shouldn't be coaching in Power 5, has no idea what's going in at his position (LB's) so why would Special Teams be any better? Really we have gotten saved with a great Punter/Kicker cuz w/o them it'd be horrific

I'm in complete agreement. If there's any school that should have a game-breaking return man every year it's Miami. Why our coaches haven't been taking return specialists is beyond me. They can change the course of a game nearly single-handedly, yet we haven't had a truly dangerous returner since who, Freshman (and maybe Sophomore) year Duke Johnson?

If you're going to disrespect the man at least be accurate.

I remember sitting in the stands and sayWOW these lower teams come to play us knowing a pounding is coming to them .

Now we are those teams knowing a pounding is coming upon us.

This team has brought this infestation upon themselves and BAMA will make us say

“ WHAT HAVE WE DONE DESTROYED A POWER HOUSE TO A D-II TEAM “

I does not matter to even ignore it it’s already upon us and our identity
