Bernie Kosar: A Football Life

He’s from Boardman Ohio-Who would have thought he would play a major role in getting us our first title in arguably the greatest college game ever-

Then went onto a great career with the Browns-

He’s a legend here and in Cleveland-He’s been hit with some very tough health issues-I can only wish him the very best in his recovery.

We wouldn't have won that game without his pass blocking for Kosar and his running at critical points in that game. All from a former walk-on from Immokalee.

Being a Colt fan, Albert was solid for the Colts

My dad went the same way. Cirrhosis. Liver just eventually shut down. Had to be regularly drained of fluid it could no longer process. Once he got to the end stage, he went fast.

I’m so sorry to both you and @arizonacane for your losses. My husband’s father and his uncle (mother’s brother) passed the same way too, the very same weekend in 2018. We got the call that his uncle passed, and while we were on the way, we got the call that my father-in-law was taken to the hospital. My FIL went two days later.

The only blessing is that because they all live in Pennsylvania and we live in Georgia, we were able to get up there in time to see my FIL while he was still coherent enough for us to say our goodbyes.

How life changes.
Always hated on Deon Sanders because he was a Nole.
That's it.
But I've become sympathetic to him after I heard him share his medical journey during his interview with Michael Irvin.
Also, didn't appreciate what some idiot son of a coach did to Shadeur when he pranked call him on his draft day.
