I knew he would start over Okunlola as soon as I saw his tape when he was uncommitted. Then when he played last year he looked bad and I said he looked bad. I also knew he would eventually get better with this staff. You can’t teach 6’9 pause
 
you could see glimpses last year - when he got his base right and put his hands on someone, they were done for. It's just that it didn't happen consistently. Props to him for being malleable to coaching and working his *** off to get better, he's an absolute success story and deserves a great draft status and contract(s) in the league.
 
The more success the Canes have in the CFP playoffs, the more Bell and several other Canes will climb draft boards as they get more eyes on them and their winning traits get noticed

Team success brings individual success
 
I hope he comes back, I don’t see him as a top 75 pick right now unless someone just absolutely falls in love with the measurable. If he can come back drop a little weight he’s going to be an immovable mass against that 2026 schedule.
 
I think I've always been the high man on Markel Bell.

He should go. He's good and I think NFL teams will see a 6-8 3-- pound LEFT TACKLE on a team that had CiCi on it and the incredible film he's got and slot him high. Im not sure about R1, but maybe.

He definitely should go. If he came back next year all that’s gonna happen is in the pre draft process he will get dinged for his age like what’s going to happen to mesidor/keionte scott
