Bell holding call….

Both of these plays are holding penalties. An offensive lineman grabbing a playing outside of a defender’s shoulders and/or bringing him to the ground, turning him to the side, or prohibiting him from reaching the ball carrier is holding and that’s what the VT player did on the play below.

It’s also holding when an OL grabs a defender above the shoulder pads preventing him from going after the ball carrier. And that’s what Bell did in the play below.

Then VT should have been called for at least 15 holds.

Also, the DE slipped 1st
 
The refs missed **** on both sides like they always do...
You know they're in their bag with the hail Mary call...that's the tell.

Brother I agree holding is done ALOT. But Bell held here. It doesn’t matter if the defender slips. Bell was beaten to the outside, the defender was in pursuit of the ball carrier, and Bell initially impeded him by grabbing him above the shoulder pads. That’s holding.

You literally can't tell anything from either picture
 
Total BS call that typically gets called against miami...if it's not called miami goes up 21-7 and if the d gets a stop the next drive i imagine the game turns into a blowout...atleast the boys got to experience some adversity that should help down the road...but I'm worried about all these injuries...bain, brown and rivers going in...now leaving this game with jaden harris, alston, barrow...there were drives in the 2nd half where we legit had like 6 or 7 backups in at times

Again, then VT should have been called for holding on 75% of their pass plays. Just randomly calling it to negate a TD is BS.

And the refs calling that a TD at the end of the game makes it very clear that Bell was flagged to prevent us from going up 21-7. **** those refs. I have no idea how any Miami fan could be carrying water for them

VT NOT being called for penalties doesn’t negate the actual ones which were called. **** your argument just plain sucks dude.
