What is a realistic date that Golden could be fired by?

I doubt he is fired in the middle of the year...but for recruiting purposes it would almost be better to ax him and start contacting new guys...

thoughts?

Imo November 22, 2014.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda done it then. After losing to ******* Virginia. Or getting embarrassed by them actually.

I wonder if the admin and Unathletic Department are surprised by what they are seeing from F A G and the fans at this point as a result of not dismissing F A G after last season's meltdown?

The administration one could hope knew this season could get ugly if they brought ol Al back especially once we started losing. No way on earth they can be surprised by the banners or the venom being spewed by the fan base. They brought this on themselves when they didn't fire that loser after a 6-7 season last year with 7 draft picks on the roster...

LMAO at the avator! Man I use to say that things could never be as worse as they were in 1997 after we lost to FSU 47-0 and the state of the program pre-Lou Saban days but I might be wrong. This guys got a FSU emblem in his avator. LOL!

Anyway, I think the most REALISTIC date that he will be fired is Nov 2nd 2015...If we go on a 5 game losing streak throughout all of October..(meaning losses to Cincy, FSU, Vtech, Clemson, and Duke) I really see no reason why they wouldnt pull the trigger. At that point we will be 3-5, the players will have checked out mentally, the attendance at games will be less then 10,000 people for remaining 2 games, the fanbase and media will have a bounty on Al Goldens head and we will have absolutely NOTHING to play for.

It would be stupid for them to continue the charade at that point. Thats the date I have my eye on..

I'm all for another 47-0 *** stomping this week. Once we lose 2 ACC games the players are done. That could come as early as VT, but most likely Clemson. I agree though. Cutcliffe is a great coach, he is going to make Al look stupid and put the nail in the coffin.

Maybe not a 5 game losing streak, VT is struggling with injuries to their best players. I think we lose at least 2 but maybe 3 out of the next 4 and he is gone.

Considering we haven't played any ACC games, I'd say through the Clemson-UVA strecth or Late October-Mid November. I actually think we can beat FSU which would be a worst case scenario considering the admin would probably keep Golden because the team beat their rivals for the first time in five years.

Knowing this **** pile of an administration I would say the day after our last game. I really would love to see Golden get the axe during the season. Hopefully we get stomped by FSU, beaten by Vag Tech and utterly humiliated by Clemson. Then kicked in the face by Duke while we're bleeding in the gutter. I want this to get as embarrassing as possible for this administration for keeping this imbecile around.

You mean he wasn't fired last night!?!?!?!? I could have sworn he got fired. The only thing more ridiculous than Al still being a HC this morning is the Obama administration calling the Russians "unprofessional" after Putin started bombing "our" Muslims instead of the other Muslims. There is a good question. "Who got ***** slapped harder this week -- Obama by Putin, or Golden by Tuberville?

He should be fired after we lose the next 3 games, with 2 of them most likely being blow out loses (FSU, Clemson).

Unfortunately, they will wait until the season is over.

November 27th within an hour after losing to Pitt and failing to make a bowl.

We're 3-1.

We'll accidentally beat one out of FSU, Clemson, VT, and Duke even though we should lose all four games. It'll probably be VT.

We'll be 4-4.

We then beat Virginia and have hopes of winning the Coastal (!!!!) then we lose to UNC, and lose to GT, but you can't fire Golden with a (******) bowl game on the line and the possibility of magically backing into a Coastal title by beating Pitt and having some other chips fall our way.

So we're 5-6 heading into Pitt with hopes and dreams of making a bowl game and/or winning the Coastal.

But the team doesn't give a **** because, honestly, who would? Nobody cares about that stuff.

All the chips fall our way and we lose to Pitt, so we lose the Coastal, go 5-7, the season ends, and Golden gets canned immediately.

Even after this Cincy debacle, there is zero chance of the Countdown's acceleration. The BOT is simply too stubborn and stupid, right now.

Firing Day is 60 away.

Let us mourn the death of Miami football?

NO!

I think the very earliest would be after Virginia Tech. I can see where a beating from FSU on national television followed by what would probably be a historically small crowd for a loss against Virginia Tech could be the answer. I really hope an espn network picks up the VT game.
