100% disagree. They won’t drop a top 5 team that went 11-1 in the regular season because they lost their championship game. Miami is not in the same scenario as byu last year.

Agree. They can lose one more, including Acc championship. They have one to give that's it.

I really, really, don’t want to rely on “the committee”. If we get to the ACC ‘ship and lose, it gets really dicey, even with our cache and two Heisman candidates. If that happens, where are our quality wins? Wake?

Not the same but similar imo. We’ll have 1 decent win then a bunch of trash. Next 3 games are beauty contests. Anything resembling FSU/UNC is going to hurt because the ACC is garbage.

They won’t really care since it’s going to 24 teams their attitude will be “well don’t worry next year this won’t be a problem”
Some 9-3 sec team will get in over us. Also if Smu beats nd we may get left out for Smu and nd. Lose in Charlotte and then we’re out. They won’t put three ACC teams in
CIS has been screaming for a couple changes to the defense and some were finally made it you can see a difference.
- Leave Fitzgerald at FS not matter what. Our Safety play has been horrendous at ever since the first play of the season when OK got hurt and we start moving him around. He is need they more than he is needed at CB.
- We have given up more yards and touchdowns playing Zone than Press Man. Heatherman has called the defense scared all year and everyone QB we play has had season high. I rather get burnt playing man if we are giving up easy *** TD playing zone.
- We either play Toure or Smith, not Toure and Smith. Bonner got in the game and we seem like we can cover the flats now. This has been known since week 1.
- The DLine issue is more about the persona combination than the players themselves. Moten and Lightfoot should never leave the field but you either going to play Scott or Blount, not Scott and Blount…. Blount is a DT

No reason for Mensah to try a QB sneak on the 1 yard line. All the did was tip toe and then lean into a hole. Pathetic, and this is 100%S on Dawson and not being prepared to have the right people on the field. Cantwell could have been a lead blocker for Fletcher!

As for the CFP - If miami goes 11-1 and loses the ACCCG - they are not putting in 2 ACC teams just to accommodate us. They will rationalize that we lost to ND and the ACCCG and we will not get the Duke benefit this year cause Wake should have a respectable enough position to warrant a bid.
Miami could even lose another game - and as long as they win the ACCCG they will get a bid. If Miami wants a bye, they need to win out regular season and ACC.
