Should've done it more last year with Cam. The entire world knows we're running duo into the A-Gap on every running play. Slow down the edges getting the kids from the backside with the threat of QB pull.

I get the sentiment but we were a Cam injury away from a 4 or 5 win season last year lol

Agreed. I don't mind if it's here and there to keep the defense honest. But any more than 1-2 a game is too risky. And yes please slide instead of inviting contact.

Roman broke that down in his film review. Beck keeping it on the RPO early in the game kept the DE home and Fletcher ended up getting a 10+ yard run off the same set later in the game.

Some of the runs I was not a fan of. He took a hard targeting call late in the usf game when it was more than over.

I was talking g to people and wondering why we haven’t out any wrinkles on the offense.
I knew he wasn’t that much of a statue as people were saying.
But the running game been so dominant that I was worried tyt they were gin a keep it “boring”.
If jojo comes back and lofton gets back to 100%; im gonna have to change the avatar.
Too much to worry about if you’re trying to defend this team.

Dawson said today that when theya re working on plays in his office, Carson always has more plays for him to run than anythng else. Far more than Dawson is comfortable with!

I was calling for this vs ND. The DEs were just crashing down. The next thing I want to see on those plays is having the TE leak out in the flat or crossing over when Beck pulls it.
