Heatherman needs to watch the film and come up with a good game plan, get the guys ready to play.
Defense had a rough game against VT and came out flat, didn’t see much intensity until later in the game.
Defense needs to set the tone early.

The issue is ... the offense being called IS Dawson's. He is conservative. He even stated "last year our defense was bad and we needed to put up 40 points a game to win, this year with the improved defense we will be good with 28 points". What Miami needs is AN AGGRESSIVE OC THAT WILL USE TEMPO combined with our elite skilled players ... to put points on the board. Dawson is not the answer.

It’s crazy how the jet sweep worked a few times then they force feed it til it doesn’t work. Hopefully they have installed/are installing more stuff out of that look, but just didn’t need to use it vs VT. Watching this offense is maddening at times
 
Im surprised the ACC doesnt WANT Miami to be the face of the Conference and dare I say, make the refs, give us breaks to win games

We all know Miami does better than everyone else for ratings so the fact that it seems not just college football wants to see Miami fail, the ACC seems to do as well.

Ive never seen a team get more negative press than Miami

Cool. Good advice. He was prolly just gonna wing it and yell blitz a lot, but now....
 
No such thing as 100% mistake free football. But we must execute consistently and avoid game changing errors (turnovers, special teams gaffes, and excessively dumb penalties that kill or extend their drives).
