Blake got fired because Manny sucks. Along with all the other teams that suck. If Manny was any good and won the games he should have, Blake would be employed today. Manny gone just letting season end.
 
Manny Diaz needs to realize there's a blue and gold parachute available this off-season only.

So you think all this money talk getting out is to hire an AD? Nope… the money talk and Blake losing his job and the promise to invest are all part of the pitch. They are looking to reel in a major fish head coach with a top notch staff. While he isn’t my first choice it seems like this is all being setup to hire Mario. He might not be a national parade worthy hire but when “voy camino al gao” hits his Twitter in January this place is going to get a shot of energy in it like we haven’t had for some time.

This Saturday we’re playing VaTech with a freshman QB and we are -71/2 point favorites coming off a loss to a 4-6 FSU team.

Diaz is gone. Firing the AD is a sure sign he is. No AD is gonna have Diaz take one of his years away by being a bum. Also Diaz has 2 years after this one, they would have to extend him likely this offseason, latest 4 games into next. You think a new AD is gonna be the one to say he gave Diaz an extension off this season? Use your common sense.

If we had beaten fsu and the last 2 regular season games plus the bowl game and looked better while doing so there might have been a chance now that seems impossible.
