BCS vs CFP 11/12/19

They had the ball, and both times scored easily. Alabama never had the ball at those scores.
LSU answered the bell. But the game was “in danger”. Bama was moving the ball the whole 2nd half..teams in control of a game don’t allow that to happen

But...Orgeron is a fired coach. CIS says fired coaches are never good...

Anything to save Alabama, right? They've played two tough games in 11 months and gave up 45 and 46.

The national champ and the number 1 ranked team is what your using to disqualify Bama from being one of the 4 best...your reaching for something not tangible

That's like saying they came out the tallest midget....people always forget how pathetic their schedule turns out to be every year. They get to skate through a bunch of average, to well below average teams every year, and roll into the playoffs without as much as breaking a sweat. There are literally no schools within the ACC that are sniffing the playoffs. Miami was a huge fraud two season ago, and it was proven with their game against Clemson. Bama loses to a very good LSU team (current number 1) by 5 and everybody clowns them, but Clemson squeaks by a UNC team because of a horrific two point conversation attempt and nobody says a word. In addition, their conference title opponent is a complete joke every season.

They don't go banged up into the playoffs like most of the other teams, they go well rested and on cruise control. It doesn't take away from how good they are, but they surely have the easiest path-every-single-year-going in.

once again they have zero losses

Bama didn’t lose by 5, theylost by 12 until a meaningless TD with under a minute left and the score wasn’t even that close

if you put 6-7 acc teams in the top 15 like they do the SEC I bet there would be bunch of ranked ACC teams

second what’s SEC bowl record and h2h againer other conferences, guess what not too good

When those are their only two tough games in 11 months, absolutely. There are no Tennessees in the CFP.

You brought up Vegas like their opinions are gold..so Vegas has Bama in the top 4 odds to win the championship..argument over Lol

Their opinion is that they love it when people like you use the eyeball test to bet up Alabama. They don't care who wins. They just adjust the odds based on Johnny Public betting on the popular names.

May I direct ur attention to the 2000 National Championship game?

No. You can't. Because in that scenario, we would have played Oklahoma first and then the winner of FSU-Washington, IIRC. That would have been a perfect scenario. A game against the "#1" team in the nation and then a rematch against the winner of our two toughest opponents that season. I would have signed up for that NO QUESTION.

Stop making up stupid stuff man.

I like good banter, but man you need to work on your grammar "skills". It really makes it hard to follow your arguments when they come across the screen in crayon.

You must not have watched the game. LSU controlled that game the entire time. Alabama never had the ball with a chance to tie or take the lead.

Your second sentence is blatantly false. Sounds like you didn't watch the game or only caught parts of it on ESPN.

Bama outscored LSU 28-13 in the second half. The second quarter is what did them in when LSU outscored them 23-6.

1. LSU 10-7
2. LSU 23-6
3. Bama 7-0
4. Bama 21-13

They lost to a team that lost to App State. That should immediately disqualify UGA from final 4 consideration.
App State is ranked in the top 25 in DIVISION 1 in case you don't know. They aren't the 1AA team that shocked Michigan a decade ago. They would beat a bunch of SEC teams.

Is that why they have Clemson, Ohio st, LSU and bama with the top odds to win the title...

tbh y’all just have Bama fatigue which is fair. Your holding Bama to a standard that you hold absolutely nobody else. If Bama beat South Dakota by 3 and ga southern by 3 in the same season y’all would hold it against them. There’s the Bama standard, then the everybody else standard
OK, here's a scenario for you. If Minnesota wins the rest of their games, other than a close loss to OSU, and 'Bama wins the rest of their games....who do you rank higher?

I'm betting that your 'Bama favoritism would result in it being 'Bama, despite the fact that in that scenario, Minnesota would have had an equal "good" loss, and would have had a MUCH better win than anything 'Bama would have had.

You know **** well Minnesota not gonna run the table..but if they do then yes they should be in..but if they lose to OSU why wouldn’t you hold them to the same standard as you do Bama losing to LSU..Minnesota squeaked by two cupcakes..literally..if that was Bama what would u say

That's because those are the four teams expected to be in the CFP, so they are the top teams likely to win the title (have to be in the CFP to win the title.). Vegas knows full well that Bama is given a pass to the CFP barring a complete collapse, unlike other teams who aren't given that consideration.

Perfect example is 'Bama being in the top 4, above Penn State the same week that Clemson was put below Penn State...based on the supposed argument that Clemson hadn't done anything this year, hadn't looked impressive, and Penn State had better wins. Meanwhile, 'Bama hadn't done anything yet this year, hadn't looked impressive, and Penn State had better wins, but of course Penn State didn't jump 'Bama.
