Bcs is far more accurate. What sucked was only two teams. If the bcs led to a 4 team playoff it would never be wrong. Never ever.
 
What a joke of a list. UGA is pure *** and is ranked perfectly to allow Bama to walk right in to the playoffs again.

I also don't get the type of precedent they're setting by ranking an undefeated Minnesota lower than all those 1 loss teams that haven't beaten a single quality team.

Undefeated teams should play undefeated teams.

Teams who have lost to South Carolina should be ranked outside of the top ten. You have an off day in college football the repercussions should be extreme. There are 130(?) teams vying for this, the margin for error should be almost zero. When a team loses a game the argument should be simply that there is at least 1 team out there better than that team, so why would they be ranked over undefeated teams?

There is no such thing as a “quality loss”.

The whole point of the playoff is to find the championship team, not create rematches.

I hate Pedo state but they have a better argument than Alabama today. Alabama’s best “quality win” is who?

Who should keep Bama out of the top 4?..if you even suggest Utah, Minnesota ? Let Minnesota beat Ohio State before they can even get mentioned even if they are undefeated

Bama lost to the only good team they played. And the game wasn’t as close as the scoreboard at the end.

Texas AM would be the best team Alabama played and beat. At this point they are living on their past reputation. Alabama’s defense put up less of a fight than BYU, Utah State, Florida, Auburn, Texas, and Mississippi state did against LSU’s offense.

I’d rather the 4 most talented teams in, unless they absolutely have a resume that’s not worthy..so if Bama s only loss is LSU..I would take them over Utah and Minnesota in heartbeat. You can’t tell me from what u seen/know is on Bamas roster that Utah and Minnesota are better..eye test matters

If you want the four most talented teams, play the playoff games in September, because we knew who was "most talented" back then. The playoffs should be about what you've done on the field.

So you’d keep Bama out because they loss to LSU?..if LSU has loss would u keep them out too? Who on Utah’s or Minnesota’s schedule are even close to a LSU?..if Alabama beats AU what win on Utah or Minnesota schedule beats that?..if Bama runs the table the rest of their games they’re in..unless Minnesota dominates the rest of their games
 
I listened to someone this morning on ESPN defending Alabama, saying they should not be punished because a few players made mistakes. I guess a guy missed a TD pass. Couldn’t help but think with that logic we should be in the Top 4. It’s an embarrassment to rational thinking

So season rankings should be based on more than the football season? We gotta incorporate recruiting rankings, hype, and media attention?

I'd rather do the crazy thing and let the results on the football field do the talking.
