BC's Take on Miami Game (we still win)

There are people in the pro Richt camp (just needs more time) and people in the anti Richt camp (seen enough, nip this failure in the bud). Who is correct? Let's just say that both sides agree that there is a high probability that we are going to lose to Boston College this week, in year 3 of Rick's tenure.

Unfortunately there seems to be a lot of......fans(?).......who will be celebrating if we lose and who can't wait to get here to start more threads.

If we can’t get our run game going we’re fuqued. The O-Line has not been able to get the run game going against good defenses in LONG time. The O-Line better bring there best effort. If we can break some runs we win.

I will never celebrate a loss. I admit I was a huge fan of the Rick hire, but in retrospect, if FSU had hired Rick, I think we all would have laughed until our faces hurt because we knew it meant they'd always find a way to blow the season and miss the playoffs based on his UGA track record. I convinced myself that Rick would stop at nothing to redeem his reputation and would win a championship by year 4 or 5. Turns out I was Richt-rolled.

Did you take in consideration that they have a defense and our offense will need to put 28+ points to stand a chance? Plus is a Friday at 6pm away game in a very cold night? Perfect scenario for the defense to pack their cases if the offense don’t show up early.
I did think of those things, I'm committing to a win, respect my decision, no interviews or phone calls.

This is my one fear. At what point does the defense look over at the offense and say "man eff ya'll"? The old Canes D would have been fighting the O in the locker room or on Greentree for the crap they pulled in Virginia. Those days are long gone I know.

I remember warren sap during a game losing his **** mind and throwing Shiite all over the sidelines cause the offense couldnt stay on the field.
I was watching Shaq having to be settled down by the staff during the uva game. It’s exactly what it reminded me of.

This night is very unique to BC's season because it's a cause that everyone in the country can get behind.

How should our staff combat the Red Bandanna theme?

I would like to see our entire team wear red bandannas. Not to mock BC but to join them in respecting a real hero. I also think that would take some of the fire out of BC because we would then be brothers. Level of talent takes over and we win-very classy of CMR we get great national press and voters think we are worthy of SEC like promotion!

Can't develop a running game without having them fear the pass. With Malik in, no one will ever fear our passing game. Best thing I have seen in the last few games is watching Perry overthow the deepest receiver, it just means when he connects on those he will stretch this defense and the run game will open up, especially if we throw on first down more often.

Malik can't overthrow anyone, at least not in a way that would scare a defense. Rosier will start, get nowhere on several wasted possessions (his 3rd down conversions are almost non-existent!), then Richt will turn to Perry who needs to throw deep the first play he hits the field. This seems like groundhog day except Richt never realizes it is happening over and over again, a bad sign for the head coach of any team.

You summed up my feelings exactly!

Sorry. The true Canes team reared it’s ugly head against Virginia. The BC game will be a repeat of Virginia game. Lack of offense and we turnover the ball inside their red Zone and our kicking game continues to be a disaster. BC has enough offense and good special teams to win by more than a td.

To tell the truth I don't know what to expect from this team except one thing.the defense will do it's part .one thing I definitely would like to see is for the offense to show it has a pulse.cmr to show he's running a div 1 offense not a pop Warner league offense.show some form of imagination not show a formation that before the snap everybody watching knows what the play is.

I read an article on one of their sites where they, or at least the writer, thnks they need to beat Miami to get over the hump.
What is BC's QB like? Does he turn the ball over?

No, 14-4 ratio, but as their fans tell it he's not very good and locks on to one guy. I watched him vs Wake and he looked good, but that was Wake.
I trust our defense, it's the offense I'm worried about...I know shocking.

My sauces tell me that Canesinsight and its posters have lit a fire under Coach Richt and he will be coaching Friday night as if his son's job depends on it.
Yep, Richt, his coaches, and all the players frequent this board constantly. They absorb all the information on this board, and plan their game plan based on what was discussed by our posters. I have information from insiders that after the season a few posters will be hired by Richt and join his coaching staff.

Well, if their QB has only thrown 4 picks all season that’s not a good sign. We all know the turnover chain is gonna have to make multiple appearances in order for Miami to come out of there with a win.
