It matters because if they just kick the extra point they’re only down eight so it’s still a one possession game. Missing the two point conversion makes it a two position game.

No, you are absolutely correct. We just have some moronic porsters. You need to ATTEMPT a 2 at some point, so who gives a **** if it is now or later. The reality is that if you MISS it now, at least you know you need 2 scores. If you go for 1 now, then score very late and MISS the 2 at that point, then you might not have enough time or options to go for a second score.

We REALLLLLY have some dumb porsters on this board. Smart move to go for 2. Now BC knows exactly what they have to do with time, kickoff options, timeouts, etc.
