That's just one of two total examples. There are only two Saban or Meyers in CFB everyone else survives rivalry games. Stoops, Dabo, Gundy, Franklin, Jimbo, the list of second tier coaches are all mostly surviving rivalry games.

I don't see how they don't lose to Clemson and Syracuse at this point and Uif will be a struggle...its surreal.

And I for one am enjoying every second of it.

Especially since many of their fans and people in the media really thought that they would be playing Bama twice this year in the biggest games on the planet.
Makes it even sweeter.

Didn't Jimbo say just last week that he didn't believe in making mid-season coaching changes, once the season is over I expect the DC & OL coach to be jettisoned.

Fsu is in the gutter now. Loss to bc was not unexpected. When Francois went down, team was doomed. Their psyche destroyed when Bama and us beat them. They are now only going through the motions when they play a game. They have lost their edge and pride. The question is if this is only a 1 year thing or will the losing performance and attitude continue next year and subsequent years.

Hope the real narrative gains steam. You don't turn this bad because you lose your starting QB. This is about players giving up and not giving a F. If you want to be part of that culture, it's likely to cost you $$$ down the line. So, go to FSU and lose future $$$?

I was about to post, and I love it but seriously how are they this bad? They have nearly all 4 and 5 star talent like 3 deep. There is no way Francois was their whole team, they are just horrible!

Francois wasn't that good. This is systemic. We've seen, and experienced it before.

What is it with some people?

FSU are getting their **** pushed in. We're undefeated.

Why wring your hands and look for faults? Just enjoy it.

Exactly. Why is that when we lose to them it ruined our season, but now that they lost to us, they just must not be good?

They are stacked with talent and running a full allotment of scholarships. They circled our game as the turnaround point, like last year, but this time they failed.

Here's the truth, jumbo survived when we had sanctions Frank got players we used to get. With a stacked team he could run funky schemes and get away with it. Now he is on level field with most acc teams. And his deficiencies show. He was never a guru he exploited our nada problems to get elite talent. Those days are gone and soon be will be gone.

Maybe true, but he still holds a significant talent advantage over most of the ACC today. This fallout is something different. He's lost this team a la Al Golden, Randy Shannon and Larry Coker. They're weak, selfish and incapable of winning on guts alone. The last part is the most damning perhaps. They've just quit.

Yeah you're right he did. I just wondered if outside pressure would force a move out of him. More than likely after the season but I'm really pulling for those coaches to stay right where they are. I really do enjoy watching them be so inadequate

This is soon to be true but we aren’t dominant. Not saying it to be negative but with 75 or so scholarship guys and suspect depth at many spots we just aren’t there yet. Well on the way but not there. Should be dominant next year and the year after.
