BC coach leaves for Packers DC job

ACC being a second tier conference with a clear and sure path to irrelevance doesn't help I'm sure.

As JMU alumni, I hope he does not bail on JMU BUT JMU is a pretty good job. I know BC is a Power 5 gig, but both are stepping stone jobs to better gigs somewhere else. Lateral move if you ask me.

JMU has become a pretty good job and it is in a decent location with access to talent from nearby DMV and Richmond area and
with less academic restrictions than BC. It is the sort of school where you win for 2-3 years and then move on.
