You can’t blame the game on one player.

We’re all hurting but be better than this. Kid gave his heart and soul for us to get to this point. Maybe tell Kalter, the special teams coach, to not always roll the punter to the right because it’s really ******* obvious.

You can't have 3 upmen and allow your punter to roll right if the blockers don't angle that way or roll with him. Bauman whiffed on the block but he probably didn't expect the punter to be way over there either. It's a bad formation and worse execution. Blame all around. Bauman's was just the most obvious and worst of the 3.

No special teams coach. But fairly obvious that we shouldn’t have our least athletically-gifted guy as the last line of defense for a punter that dances off to his side before punting? Especially when we knew IU was putting the pressure ON from the first punt.

That's the ultimate question.

Did he just not see him? I seriously don't get it, it made no sense. His job is to cover that side, secondary is to watch the middle, and that's all he has to do.

While he's been the worst starting TE I can remember, that's the play I'll remember him for. I don't think it was intentional, sure it wasn't, but **** my guy that can't happen.
 
Hate to singe out one player but man that blocked punt really hurt us. I think this is one of those situations where it may be smart for both sides to part ways (bauman and miami). I think that kid will be criticized up the wazoo next year for anything/everything if he's still wearing a miami jersey
 
He can fix TEs and special teams

If there is a silver lining to this loss....this will most likely be the last year players like Bauman will ever get meaningful playing time.

There was only one guy to get a piece of and he just let him go by and block the punt....wtf man!
