Battle For WR3

Yeah after watching this I’m sold. His potential is thru the roof. He has some unique skill sets for his size. This passing game is gonna take the offense to another level. 2026 is all on the OL.

Lol him being able to throw it to is making me think all kinds of crazy thoughts. Malicat backwards pass to Cam.. Cam hits the TD throw.

I think it is safe to say Toney being the best player in CFB is WR1, and Barkate already having timing with Mensah and going for over 1k yards will be WR2. It will be an absolute war between Josh Moore - my personal preference, Cam Vaughn, Dre Jacobs, and Somourian Wingo for WR3. I actually am pretty confident because we know 3 of them are really good players and Wingo is highly rated and already getting positive mentions. How do we feel the battle shakes out.
One underrated thing also is the CBs they are gonna have to go against in practice that will make them better. They won't face a better or deeper CB room the toughest battles will be in practice

It seems many think Cam Vaughn will be WR3. But you're right - what a battle! That's how a Miami WR room should look.
Cam V and Josh M splitting reps there I bet. Almost even with Wingo getting a handful each game

Both the new guys (not Barkate) were boundary guys, but Cam seems more like CJ, great hands and was used on a lot of screens and can pick up some extra yards. I think Jacobs is more of a true boundary more like Kelan, but better. An absolute burner with good hands. I don't think anyone else on the team is going to compete with these guys as the boundary because they are both super dependable WRs. Cam 3 drops... Jacobs 1 drop.

Looking at what we have next year I have to think we run more 4 wr sets and more tempo. We have some serious horses and a QB who thrives in quick hits, tempo and our OL is young, not the maulers we had last year.
