I think it is safe to say Toney being the best player in CFB is WR1, and Barkate already having timing with Mensah and going for over 1k yards will be WR2. It will be an absolute war between Josh Moore - my personal preference, Cam Vaughn, Dre Jacobs, and Somourian Wingo for WR3. I actually am pretty confident because we know 3 of them are really good players and Wingo is highly rated and already getting positive mentions. How do we feel the battle shakes out.

It seems many think Cam Vaughn will be WR3. But you're right - what a battle! That's how a Miami WR room should look.

I would probably put Upshaw in the top 6th…But I guess it could be Wingo. We have maybe the deepest WR core in America right now, crazy. AND AR82 said he thinks we'll hear form Paris early.
 
Mali, Barkate will play most snaps. The next 4 of Vaughn, Jacobs, Moore, Upshaw will also play a lot of snaps, and compete for the 3 and 4 slots.

They gonna have to produce when they get snaps in this room. But the room has much more depth this year, and will allow Beard to keep everyone fresh and involved with regular rotation.

6 deep right now, and Wingo could easily carve out a role.

While I agree, Vaughn also looks like a dawg. Moore had an unreal catch v Ole Miss on a ball thrown way behind him. I also really like how Vaughn separates from defenders in that clip. I do not see Upshaw that highly. It seems like he stays hurt and he isnt that impactful. Totally blind rankings before spring, totally subject to change.

11. Briggs - way too small for TE

Ridiculously deep and talented group of wideouts. Whoever wins WR3 will be an absolute stud, NFL level guy. Great time to be a Canes fan!

This is my thinking as well. Upshaw is a versatile piece who is being a bit slept on. If healthy he will get on the field. That competition between the 2nd & 3rd team wr's is gonna be fun🍿
 
With what we have at TE, we absolutely should use 4 wrs more often in 26. Spread 4 wide out and see EVERYTHING click with a qb that can audbile based on what he sees.

Defense spread out? Run Fletcher with duo (you can even bring one of the wrs in motion to help). Other wrs should be dawgs blocking their chump defensive backs. Fletcher gets into 2nd level more easily than he did this year. Bully ball in an open field.

Defense still got 6-7 in the box? Now you got matchups in the pass game. Multiple wrs with 1 on 1 action that can beat their guys (unlike Bauman or even Lofton to a degree who need to be schemed open or just clogging up passing lanes with uneven timing with WRs).

Air raid was created to space teams out horizontally to find the matchups and then get your playmakers the ball and let them cook. We got the personnel to do that.
