With fall ball in full swing, the Hurricanes received a little recognition from a national outlet for their recruiting efforts.
Miami’s incoming recruiting class was ranked No. 2 overall by Perfect Game, behind Arkansas. The Hurricanes’ class includes 12 high school signees – two in the Perfect Game top 100 – and one junior college player and was rated an 88 (Arkansas was an 89).
Miami’s class ranked ahead of No. 3 Florida, No. 4 South Carolina, No. 5 LSU, No. 6 Virginia, No. 7 Oregon State, No. 8 FIU, No. 9 UNC, No. 10 Arizona State.
