I mean, if this whole situation isn't exposing Jake Blames for the fraud he is, I don't know what would. HOW can you walk into your office and ask your assistant for coffee if you are Jake Blames at this point. Isn't he ashamed of himself?

The fact that there are actual people with the Money willing to help bring this program back to where it was and Blake is holding it back is maddening.

It really should be this simple. Problem is that James is too close to the situation and is acting emotionally. Otherwise, he'd see it as an opportunity instead of a threat.
 
A general manager in college ball makes no ******* sense. Especially one that’s above the head coach. You can have people who do thinks like evaluate talent, but those are below the head coach. If Diaz can’t handle the responsibility of being a coach, then fire him. And btw no real coach would ever agree to join a football program that they are not in charge of.
 
Give me a ****ing break! DOES ANY OTHER UNIVERSITY in the country have this level of ROYAL CLUSTER****S every **** time any problem comes up? The GD answer is NO! This school has been like this ever since I walked into its doors in the late ‘60s! Why is an incompetent AD have the power to create this kind of mess without being BOOTED OUT ON HIS SORRY ***?!!
This incompetent administration hems and haws while the entire athletic department is burnt to the ground because this one cretin steps on his prick every time he opens his mouth or tries to do something besides sitting on his sorry *** in his ill-deserved office! It makes perfect sense. You're just not thinking hard enough. You're under the false impression that autonomy and carte blanche control is what determines whether MIA can hire a competent HC or not. Only delusional fans believe MIA has the capability to hire an established HC like Urban Meyer. Therefore the only HCs that MIA is in position to hire are unproven commodities like Manny Diaz. This is why a GM of football operations is so crucial for this program, because it helps to take pressure off the presiding HC, who by all accounts needs all the help that they can get.

The alternative to not having a dedicated GM of football operations, is hiring & firing HCs in a turnstile fashion, which actually makes this job even less appealing to competent HCs. With every passing yr this program falls deeper & deeper into the abyss. A dedicated GM of football operations could immediately help to stop any further decline.

I find it absolutely fascinating that Blake refuses to take this stroke of luck. Think about it the BOT is willing to hire ( and from Dmoneys post a booster is willing to pay 2 years worth of pay) and create a position that serves to run football only.

This thus frees him of an liability and he can say “hey that’s all Zo and Manny’s show i just try and help raise funds!”

Without football he’s left with all the rest of our sports which 90% no one gives a fuggg how they perform outside of the Baseball team (who have a **** good squad and should get back to Omaha and maybe compete for a natty). He would look great if that happened

It's just mind boggling that Blake James is this dumb. BOT is giving him a rope and he is choosing to hang himself with it instead of climb out. Interesting times we live in.
 
F both these Clowns...Scared a Real Alpha Dog would come in and point out all the glaring inadequacies...These 2 Azzwipes walking around Hecht as if we just went 11-1....Both these Clowns should be at Sunday Services Praising the Lord that their Azzes are still employed....
