I read on cbs sight where cmr was asked about the spread.last two games he liked how it opened up running lanes basically said he was gonna maybe look into installing some more spread looks into his offense.article also said tes getting hurt and way the offense scoring average went up to 24 last two games and during all the losses it couldn't score 21 pts.sorry can't find link but it's on" inside "can't give the rest .the u 24/7

His offense looked like shi.t against Pitt and VTech fielded one of the worst defenses in college football this year. The offense compared to other teams who played vs VTech was below average. Richt hasn't solved a ******.g thing.

@Caneville87 Curious man are you a Cane fan and Louisville fan also, do not see the relationship between two schools.

The funny thing is I know you just run around following Richt and try to play it off like you don't. I was in the OB when you were in Athens cheering your underachieving idol on.

@gogeta thinks searles deserves another year. He's seen the coaching and what he had to work with up close. I hate change for changes sake, but in this case i thought it was warranted, but i'm down for giving him another year if it lands us a good class

You sir are one of the more stable minded ones, searels had to coach o-line talent equivalent to rosier's talent, guys who gave it all they had but were just not good enuff, if they want to judge coach searels, judge him off the guys he's brought in from scracth, he's not the terrible o-line coach he's being made out to be. Our rushing numbers this year were good, especially without having a passing game, and True freshmen tigtends, and a plethora of young crybabies not making plays, if they crying this year, wait till payton, baywatch and t.j. possibly get here.

Now that navaughn is back in his natural spot, he's balling again, people on here are delusional as all get out, talking about "navaughn regressed" how somebody gone regress at a new position, look at scaife out their doing work now. The young crybabies on this team need to STFU and grow, our get behind and follow Blades jr. He wasnt scared at all of lsu like several of the young players who started crying during the season about playing time and havent done nothing yet.

Its best to keep coach searels, most of the guys now understand his teaching systems, no need in bringing in another o-line coach in the midst of recruiting, and while the results speak for themselves, this man has been coaching our o-lines without enuff True tackles on the team, until scaife stepped up, and louis is a below avg. tackle.

Next years o-line will be way more talented!

When asked if he might run the spread offense more in the future, he said: “We do run that set” and then spoke for a while before delivering the money line: “We’ll definitely be in the spread again a bit.”

Worth letting things play out and seeing if Jarren Williams beats out N'Kosi Perry in spring. Williams is the future under center. If he's as good as some think he can be, would trust the system he's in.

No offensive line and sub-par quarterback play was much more detrimental to Miami than the formation. UM doesn't need to completely abandon the pro-style in favor of the spread, barring it has the right personnel coming in. Yes, use more spread sets—but lack of personnel this season (and lack of execution) were more detrimental this season than the scheme.

Perry didn't get serious about the film room and playbook studying until mid-November. Had he taken that approach a year ago this time, he'd have beaten out the average Rosier in spring and this season would've looked a whole lot different. Miami arguably would've been 10-2 and heading to the Coastal (albeit losing to Clemson again.)

Yay. One less year to wait for the next scrub head coach this abysmal athletic department will bring in. It's great to be a Miami Hurricane. Or something.

1) Show me where Donaldson has been balling out
2) The O-line isn't equivalent in talent to what Rosier was. We have 3 all-americans (from HS) on the roster. Most teams in our division maybe have 1. St. Louis was a consensus 4-star in HS and he didn't look good and will be lucky to get drafted. UT was ****ed when Boulware left and he was a serviceable guard. Searles chose to keep playing Jones and Mahoney. Searels has a track record of not putting out great lines. Why do other offensive lines in our division look better than what we have? Why does our offensive line play so undisciplined (multiple false start penalties per game)?
3) We're not in line for any offensive linemen this cycle and it's possible we lose the 2 we have now, possibly ending up with zero offensive linemen in a class.

@LustNCanes ,my brother and I were talking about this tonight and i want everyone who reads this post to think about something.

Right now we are talking about the same bull**** we were talking about LAST YEAR. and ...... NOTHING changed
so if you want to know what NEXT YEAR is going to be like .... here it is boys and girls.

THIS YEAR IS NEXT YEAR FOR LAST YEAR ...... did you get that ?

Mork did NOTHING in 2018 to solve problems we all saw in 2017 and he improved NOTHING !
2019 will be the same bull**** as 2018 only worse ...just like 2018 was worse than 2017.

Here's the money question ....... what if Diaz gets a great offer and leaves ? who's buying tonight ? we all need a beer !

Miami has no chance to be an elite and championship program again until Blake James and Mork are GONE !
This b'ish is just silly. Same mofos that were praising Blake for hiring Richt are now calling for his firing along with Richt. One bad year and it's time for a Regime change?

Oh, I'm sure you'll say you were never in favor of the Richt hire in the 1st place. Just like you (all of you that want Richt fired) said that last year when we were 10-0, hosted ESPN College Gameday, won the Coastal for the 1st time ever, and just whipped ND's ***. Yah, that sounds like a regime change is needed after an unfulfilled 2018.

You don't blow **** up after one bad year!!! I have a wait-n-see attitude. Let's see if changes are made, what kind of recruiting class we end up with, and what the 2019 team shows on the field.

Also, barry jackson has become a crybaby himself, i normally like reading his articles, the problem i have with him, he didnt give the moron regime this much **** in their last year here, here it is, coach richt has been here just under 3yrs of the rebuild and this guy is acting as if coach richt took over this program after butch davis.

I was already drinking 20% more than at anytime in my life. Hearing that Rick rebuffed any offensive scheme post the Mercury stationwagon with side board paneling and suitcase rack era, increased that percentage by 25%.
