Barry Jackson says we are fubared

Well that settles it. We are going to have to lightly tap the knees or gently step on the toes of all scholarship tight ends on the roster to get the offense we want. This **** is going to be exhausting.

Man I’m praying Barry is his usual wrong self and that major changes are coming this offseason. We need to tell Richt make the changes or they will be made for you. Blake is his boss, and can fire/hire whoever he sees fit to take over the roles. Doing nothing will creat mutiny of the likes Richt and James have never seen before, and with the 2019 recruiting class falling further and further down the rankings how the **** can Richt justify or think his way is the right way?
 
I read on cbs sight where cmr was asked about the spread.last two games he liked how it opened up running lanes basically said he was gonna maybe look into installing some more spread looks into his offense.article also said tes getting hurt and way the offense scoring average went up to 24 last two games and during all the losses it couldn't score 21 pts.sorry can't find link but it's on" inside "can't give the rest .the u 24/7

Truth is we could have Brevin and Mallory on field at same time and go into spread offense still.

Can you imagine the havoc a real OC could bring on opposing offenses in that scenario?

Have a nickel package to stop pass?
We go 2 TE or TE+HB and run it down their throat.

Oh you subbed back to a 4-3 look to stop the run? Back into spread w LBs covering at least on TE and our RB. LoL

Blakey is just as happy as a clam to get his 5 year extension. he is just a ticket boy from Maine. he ain't going to be firing anyone or telling anybody what to do or not do. just a useless wimp.

It's obvious CMR isn't going to fire Junior. So why would he fire Stacy, who is a distant Cousin. And, as I infered before, Stacy will be back in Thee Gable's.

Yeah, I know Blake James is Richt's boss. But, what does Blake know about how to construct an effective D1 football staff? That's what you hired the HC for. You leave that staff up to the HC. If you don't trust him to do that, then fire him. The last thing I want is for Blake James (glorified ticket salesman) to decide on assistants.

Short of Richt changing direction and seeking a top OC, and a shuffling of the current staff to accommodate that, I see no quick fix. IMO, he isn't likely to do that. So, I think we are stuck with what we have for another year. And, while I don't like that any more than any other fan, I think that's the path that we will go down.
 
If Richt decides to change nothing about his HC philosophy then he is just shortening his own rope at UM. Year four will yield similar results as year three. How many underclassmen will leave this year? How many freshman will he have to start next year? An outdated offensive philosophy with sub par coaches and sub par talent while we compliment it with a decent defense that waste great talent. 7-5, 8-4 will be the norm here until either he changes or UM makes the changes for him. Even if we make it to the ACC championship game in the future, we won't be competitive enough under his leadership.
