Who cares what bowl game we play in, The goal is to win national championships not moral victories. Am I disappointed in the season, yes. But being a realist were we going to even beat Clemson in the ACC, no Clemson is the only team that might and I think beat Alabama. So we get trounced by Clemson and play in some low 1st tier bowl to what say we came in the top 25. Changes will be made , On the positives Perry looked like a potential vg qb, Cam Davis surprised me, The defense in the secondary has breakdowns, The 3 jr linebackers who will be back had a vg game, Garvin looked great, Patchan looked great. If we fix the offensive line next year we will be back.

Yes, agreed but we MUST have someone qualified in charge of the playbook. Someone who knows how to create schemes that exploit our explosive playmakers.

Richt s dumb a&& has handcuffed our offense so much that even &hit defenses like Duke, UVA and GT don’t need to fear us.

Shame to see what should be our strategic advantage completely made worthless.

Barry's way late to jump on the bandwagon, but I'm in favor of anything that turns up the heat on richt.

That said, I could not disagree more about Blake James. He's terrible and makes lazy hires.

Barry is actually wrong on one thing. Richt now has 3 4-game losing streaks in 3 years. Year 1 with Kaaya, year 2 (Pitt, Clemson, Wisconsin, LSU this year) and our current 4 game skid which could be 5 or 6....ugh!

This point needs to be highlighted 1000 times because it speaks volumes. Very telling that every season under Richt the team falls into a funk. Tells me that Richt allows the team to fester in a losing mentality.

He’s too **** lackadaisical about letting the players work their way out of a losing streak. No Richt, you do whatever you have to to snap them out of it promptly.

Losing lingers too long under this guy. It’s like it just doesn’t matter that much to him so the players reflect that.

I am not Barry Jackson nor a fan of his, but give him some credit for writing that article. Yes, he was Captain Obvious, but he often has to interact IN PERSON with Richt, Searles, and others, and he relies on them for quotes, comments, nuggets etc. If you havent been in business, you just dont understand.

There is also another possible reason for that article.....someone senior at UM gave him the Ok to put public pressure on CMR to make changes. The more I think about that, the more plausible it sounds.
