Has he called plays before? We don’t need 2 coordinators on both sides of ball that have zero play calling experience ..

You guys and your obsessions with re-treads is almost comical. Then when another team makes the smart move and gives a new guy a chance and he blows up, you whine that our admin has no balls and doesn't take chances.

Experience is overrated. You think Bedenbaugh is accidentally going to call for a punt on 2nd down because of inexperience? Dude co-designed the Oklahoma offense. He knows what he is doing. On top of all that, he fixes the OL issues, and Miami isn't making a run at an ACC title until the OL improves.

I tell you what- I've identified an OC with more experience than Kendall Briles and Norvell combined, who has won a national championship as an OC and has even coached Heisman candidates. He's even been said to be a qb whisperer. Best of all, it wouldn't cost Miami a single additional penny to have this particular guy call plays. Admit it- thats the guy you REALLY want, right?

Agreed. Bedenbaugh makes the most sense. That's exactly why it won't happen.

And what makes you think he wants to work under Mork, is he that stupid, this ship is sinking as long as he" s here. No coach worth his salt will work in this toxic mess that is Mork Rik

Because Miami is a springboard to a HC position. Always has been. Diaz proved it again. Wasnt much more than a competent DC (he stood out relative to the other coaches) and spun it into a HC position.

Bedenbaugh wants to be a HC. Two years as a successful OC at Miami and he will land a decent college gig, or at minimum an NFL OC job.

Step 1: pretend the problem isnt the head corch.

Step 2: start over.

Step 3: wash, rinse, repeat.

The HC is the problem but he’s not going anywhere. We are too cheap to buy him out. **** we are bouncing checks to Golden! Can we even afford to buy him out after next season? So it’s pointless to even discuss unless you are with the “I’m done with the Canes until Richt is gone!” crowd.

That said, he should be forced to makes changes. No way you let him walk around Hecht feeling confident that his current staff can do the job. Blake needs to be beating his door down daily if only to try and save his own **** job.

I really don’t understand your point. You’d prefer to live in denial because you worry we can’t afford to get rid of richt, and so are giving advice to James on how to save his job, which he clearly shouldn’t have at this point anyhow? You do you, I guess. I’m just pointing out the reality, which is that Richt is he problem and needs to go. Full stop. Whether he will go or not, ain’t my job to make happen. maybe it’s as impossible as you say. Maybe not. Maybe he’ll quit. doesnt matter to the discussion. a what I won’t do is pretend some lipstick and a prom dress will turn Pigricht into a pretty girl.
