Notre Dame went 4 and 8. The administration kept Kelly, he fired coaches hired new coaches. Basically changed the program and now they are in the playoff.

Richt can do it but he has to be committed to doing it.

I’m just not sure he is committed to it. He needs to get rid of Serles, and his son. If he does that, that means he understands what needs to be done.

This was my thought exactly and was about to post the same thing. This idiot witnessed the train wreck that was this past season, and now all of a sudden it dawns on him that &hit is fvcked up and he needs to make some serious changes.

What in the ****??? Richt is not well, folks. Like some &hit is seriously wrong upstairs with him.

If we fire Richt tomorrow, then we're right back to where we were in 2005.... eating a huge buyout, and probably looking to hire Manny Diaz, the modern Randy Shannon.

If we're serious about hiring a new coach, it needs to be somebody who ticks multiple boxes, not just someone who seems to fit whatever the current mood is. Be proactive, not reactionary. Don't solve yesterday's problems, solve tomorrow's problems.

Richt can’t even solve problems from 3 years ago, let alone tomorrow’s problem. Besides, have you seen how horrific our recruiting has been? I’ll take my chances with someone else.

Agreed. It was clear as day that the players quit on Richt. They are no longer buying his shtick. He might as well just move on because this ship has sailed.

Step 1. Hire and OC and get a QB coach with real experience. See how I it plays out. If it doesn’t work then he’s done. Everyone wanted a new OC and he may do it. If he does then STFU.
