Yep this. Also heard when his mom got sick he asked for time away and AG said it had to be one or the other, so Barrow decided family.

Aint even surprised....yet another example of one of the all time greats having his issues with this staff. What a sorry piece of **** situation we are in. ****!!!!
 
all of the guesses stated in this thread are just that, guesses. no one here has any hard proof of it. i did hear the matt porter interview and it seems there is more to the story than family, that seems certain, but what exactly it is he would not say

It appears we've moved our LBs back to work with DBs, especially on 4th and 1, and the DE's took over coverages on slot receivers and RBs out of the backfield, so he really had no one to coach.

Golden is a great guy, though!

He takes a **** on a guy who knows more about Miami and what a good defense looks like than either himself or Dorito. Ego maniac.
