This was anticipated.

The West End Zone plane has six .50's mounted on the wings, and two heat seeking Sidewinders mounted underneath.

Yeah, so your solution is to keep a **** coach. Cause you know, Miami getting regularly trounced on national TV is not embarrassing.

We already are. We have the new Meme coach and Butch Jones is nowhere to save us. We have the "Richting" meme which is whenever a team loses to an inferior opponent, the is Richt losing control of the locker room again meme, and many others.

Didn't say that....but we better make sure we have someone legitimately better before firing him....this is a reverse Golden situation...bad D, good offense.....now it's opposite....if there aren't any changes made to the staff in the offseason, I'll be joining the fire him squad
 
Al Golden believed in the Al Groh 3-4. Thought it was the system that gave him the best chance to win. Canes fans could immediately tell the system was a bad fit, as it depended too much on reading and reacting so defense was always a step behind. Diaz comes in and with the same players the defense suddenly becomes more formidable.

Richt is devoted to his offensive system. Canes fans see that it doesn't take full advantage of the Miami speed and the heavy focus on the run is killing the offense as the OL just can't get enough push. A spread offense that stretches out the pass rushers, has motion, and more of a horizontal passing game so WRs can catch and run would improve the offense as much as going from the 3-4 back to the 4-3. Rick won't do it, and even if he hires a OC he'll probably hire a yes man who runs Rick's system a la D'No with Gorlden.

You need either
1. a young Innovative HC like Riley, Herman, or Kiffin OR
2. A coach like Butch Davis who would stop at nothing to redeem himself at Miami so he'd hire the best, even if they ran an offense younger than 30 years old.

Rick doesn't have the hunger I honestly thought he would have after being canned by UGA.

Dueling banners?

Sure money talks, alma mater talks... but there are already some "vibes" here in Miami where coaches with Richt's credentials, or with more desirable "coaching talent" as certain fans see it, are probably reluctant to come be our HC. That is not exactly a good thing, especially if we look forward to who one day replaces Richt. So it could be true that flying banners and such now (which the media does cover) would make this situation worse, and negatively affect our future hires. I get the desire and maybe the need for a banner, but based on record and performance, a third party might simply think "why would I want to go and try to please THOSE hard-to-please fans".

I see no reason why we win at BC other then being a Cane fan and want too , (2) weeks to prepare for a loss , this will bring down the house. I've seen nothing that gives me the feeling that we can play FSU second half football for (4) quarters because BC will be sky high with BLOOD in the water and would love to SLURP it all up.

This would NOT be an upset if BC wins , it would be if we WIN with all that's wrong in our house, I hate this feeling , with off the charts in talent and we can't play , keep in mind WE DIDN'T GIVE US THIS FEELING so don't get upset with us who were given this yoke.
