I don't believe that these banners do much (although last week's banner clearly got to AG for a few seconds) but I think we can all agree that the "c'mon, fire Al Golden these banners are expensive" was absolutely hysterical. Very creative and LOL worthy.

The banners would be okay if our fans went to games. Plenty of recruits in the stadium this weekend to see all the empty seats. Now when they visit other schools with 80,000+ rocking out, I wonder who they'll want to play for?

Many of these recuits would have to watch The U part 2 to even know who that is. Seniors being recruited were two years old when he left for the Browns.

The banners should be flying but for a different reason.

The biggest problem at the University of Miami right now is Blake James.

We could not have a more incompetent weak athletic director right now. We are in serious trouble right now with that putz running the ship with full autonomy.

Texas flew banners to fire their AD....not Charlie Strong. It worked.
 
That's it folks. Blame fans for the **** program we have been for 10 years. After all, we all know Detroit is a powerhouse NFL team Bc of their attendance streak.

I was born in 88 and when I was in middle school and high school kids my age still knew about jj and schnelly and michael irvin and alonzo highsmith. Kids have uncles and parents and big cousins etc...
 
Yall are dumb if you dnt think kids know who Butch Davis is if they followed the 01 team like they all claimed they did.

It's like knowing who Bear Bryant is. I wasn't alive when he died.

Don't be a goofball. An 18 year old might not know a ton about Davis. But every adult in South Florida knows who he is and how many kids have made millions of dollars because of him. The guy's a legend in these parts.

If Davis taps you then you know you got a chance to make some millions. He's like Publishers Clearinghouse with a giant check when he shows up at a recruit's house.
 
It's not like Butch was the architect of the greatest team of all time.

Oh, wait. He was. If a kid is looking to play college ball, he'll know who Butch Davis is.
