Let me Start with - Al Golden = Do Not Want

Have to ask those that feel the banner will get the administration to fire Al
- In 1997 Miami Fans bought a banner that said "From National Champs to National Chumps - Thanks Butch" .... clearly they wanted Butch out
- Yesterday, well you know about the banner from yesterday

I am assuming that 99% of the Miami Fans on this board feel it was a very good thing that the Administration ignored the Butch banner and kept him
- How do you wrap your head around the argument this time vs last time?

Once again - want him gone

They got no answer here... Golden cud turn it around & lead us back to glory days or he could run us in the ground worse than we've ever been... No one knows... Least of all on this website... If you have any opinion on here besides fire golden, no d, James, shalala then you're just goin to get called names & ridiculed by "fans" too good to go to games... "Fans" that root for their team to lose so they can say I told you so about firing a coach.. "Fans" that know everything about everything about playing & coaching yet for some reason got better things to do career wise than go make millions doing it & are just better off giving there biblical like opinions to the few that read these boards.

I have 3 and half years of proof that show he will be, and currently is, running this program into the ground.

You cannot show me one statistic that proves otherwise. The situation Butch was in -- ACTUAL sanctions -- is nowhere close to what Golden walked into.

Anyone saying "oh well, he could turn it around or be Butch!" is operating strictly on wishful thinking and is living in a dream world. So shove that Peter Pan shlt straight up your candy ***.
 
Butch dealt with real **** n those fans were retarded, iwasnt a fire Butch guy. Imma fire AG guy. My red flag went up on the 2013 NSD disaster
 
The banners are more effective than they really should be. It's that way because the administration lives in a phony dream land where they think people can't see the results of their stupidity.

The difference between Butch and Folden:
1. By year 4 you could see improvement
2. Butch fired Miller his DC early in the process he knew that the guy was garbage.
3. You could see players get better as the became upper classmen.
4. Butch adapted his style of play to his players, he never tried to fit a square peg into a round hole.
 
UM fans' standards were much higher back then. We didn't have the new breed of low-T sissies letting the fan base like we do now.

Fans were unhappy with Butch because he was doing a mediocre job, and UM fans were intolerant of it. Eventually, he fired his best buddy DC, grew into the job as a HC (remember it was his first gig unlike Folden), and recruited his way out of it.
 
We're 4-3, in GuRlden's 4th year. The three losses came from 3 teams that we've out-recruited for four straight years. So, we should have and could have beaten them. We have the talent. Period. Butch was dealing with ACTUAL sanctions. GuRlden is not. And the problems we've had to deal with have had minimal effect on recruiting. Sorry, you're comparing apples and potatoes
 
But he's players improved and didn't look soft n confused in year four and he dealt with a vortex thunder storm. Not a super Mario cloud.
