And they shouldn't, but it should be something you earn. Let them offer kids the low numbers as freshmen, but not that one.

I'm against retiring any numbers. The ones that are now retired should be brought back. Make them "numbers of honor" or some such thing, and give them only to deserving juniors or seniors.
