Will be the match up of the game. Renfrow is their Berrios (and I don't make that comparison bc of their skin complexion). He is a safety valve for Bryant. Hope Bandy is up for the challenge (I think he is).

Agree with you 100%. On Defense, we absolutely need to have a plan for Renfrow on 3rd downs in particular. We can get away with letting up a few 3rd and longs against some of the competition we’ve played, but you cannot against Clemson. They are very good at getting to 2 and 6 or better, so when you get them into a 3rd down and long situation it is your small window to get them off the field.

Bandy is a big CB, built like a tank. We can be very physical with him on the line.

I like our chances in this match up.

Renfrow is a technician with his routes. Bandy has to get physical. Bama had no answers for Renfrow with multiple NFL players on their defense.

I think jaquan and bandy are best suited to handle renfrow but that little ***** always finds a way to get open, but like inday says they have some other huge playmakers on the field.

You like our matchup with a young freshman going against a battle tested, clutch, very good WR? I'm not sure I do. Either way, Bandy/young/Jakcson will have their work cut out for them because Cain, Renfro and McCloud (and Higgins as a backup) is the best WR trio in the ACC imo. This will be a huge matchup. Clemson's offense is simple - run, read zone, RPO with short passes. They rarely throw beyond 15-20 yards downfield.

I'm more concerned about our offense and whether or not they can do anything against their defense.

Hopefully the QB doesn't have the time or window to throw this game. He kind of reminds me of the ND QB, similar builds and style of play. He's another QB I would try to confuse him and force him to be accurate.

I think the goal is to limit him. No way he's going to be completely shut down unless Bandy or Jaquan have the game of their lives. But we can't let him go off. If we limit him, Bryant won't make the big time throws that Watson routinely made. We will be the best defense they've played all season.

Tall task for Bandy or any defender, not just linebackers.

Renfrow is as fast as almost any slot receiver in football, has extreme vision and is sure handed. DBs have to communicate better to properly defend against him.

I like our chances. Bandy is a very talented player. Renfrow will make a few plays, but so will Bandy.

Cain/Higgins/Mcloud vs Jackson/Young is a huge advantage to Clemson.

Miami will need a few beaks to go their way to have a chance

Edit: AU beat me to it

I hope Diaz doesn't insist on playing base D on first and second down allowing Renfrow to feast on our LBs in zone coverage.

Don’t ever have to worry about Bandy he’s gone come with it. He’s gone be right on Renfrow’s hip.
