Yes he was an NFL defensive line coach and iirc may have won a super bowl as a coach with a stout DL

Why would any of the position coaches go to Utah State?

They would go if they were about to get fired. Otherwise, there'd be no reason to voluntarily leave UM for a lateral position at USU.

@Cribby said he wasn't sure about the DL coaches recruiting abilities. There are no doubts about Lupoi's recruiting "skills". So I would think someone else
