The committee won’t see it that way, though, because at the time, it was a great loss. Because FSU was obviously “back” since they beat Bama. So you can’t knock Bama for losing to them.

If we both win out then our head to head would give us the edge. What would be the rationale for putting ND in over us?? The non-SEC media nut huggers will start the deafening calls right away. The committee will not want any part of this decision I assure you.

Still don’t think, if it comes down to it, that 10-2 ND gets in over 10-2 Miami. We have more ranked wins, the head to head, and better metrics. The committee taking ND is the equivalent of saying the actual games don’t matter, it’s just about the logo

100% agree, had this very discussion with someone else on this board. Gonna look REALLY bad if they don't put us in.

Not rewarding a team for scheduling and beating a tough non-conference opponent—only to leave them out in favor of the very team they beat—would be ******* insane. If that happens, we might as well bring back the BCS

They literally sold two of my parlays that I lost by 1 leg and screwed the Canes as well. BUMS

So when does the terminology change to "SEC teams beating up on eachother" and "SEC chaos."

Never gonna happen.

Every loss is a quality loss. Lose 3-4 games? No problem. They were tough opponents.
 
If Texas beats Georgia those are two bids gone. Complete BS. Oklahoma and Texas shouldn’t even be sniffing a playoff

They’re both at home and I believe mizzou is without their starting qb. LSU is a very mid team but I suppose it’s possible with them.
