People saying "just win" don't understand the college football playoff era
Every team needs help, EVERY team.
IF we lose to Clemson (defending national champs) even close then we NEED help
Uh, what?

As impressive as last 2 weeks have been, I wouldn't want Bama on a neutral field, they'd give us the business 35-7
Dude we've still got 3 games left. Something about a horse and a cart.
How Wisconsin losing to a non-playoff team be better than the Canes losing to Clemson?
And what Wisconsin win would be better than Notre Dame or Virginia Tech?
I think Wisconsin is the B1G’s only chance at making the playoffs, unless Ohio State gets a ton of help from Miami (beating Clemson), Oklahoma (winning out), and Alabama (winning out). If a isconsin wins out, they’re in. And if they drop 1, but win the B1G, I think they’ll still get in, as it opens the door for 4 conference champs.
We just need Bama to beat Auburn.
Auburn is the highest ranked 2 loss team. That would eliminate them if they lose to Bama.
Wisconsin will lose to the buckeyes in the big 10 champ game.
UGA has 2 losses after losing the SEC championship game
Even if we drop the Clemson game (I think we win that btw) the final 4 would be:
1. Bama 13-0
2. Clemson 12-1
3. Oklahoma 12-1
4. Miami 11-1
You can't put a 2 loss team in over a 1 loss Miami team whose only loss is to a playoff team.
Hang on, isn't there another 12-1 team not listed in this scenario? I think dropping Ark. St in the scenario listed may actually bite us.

obviously
how many teams go undefeated though?
"just win out" is a lazy, obvious answer
there would be no point in having a discussion if we win out, therefore OP is bringing this up IN CASE we lose
which i guess is too hard to comprehend
obviously if we win out we are in, but if we don't win out, then yes, we NEED help
