Their argument will be that they don’t want to boot a team for losing the SEC championship to a top 3 team

While replacing them with a team who missed its conference championship in a weaker conference.

Now will see if they hold BYU to the same standard as Bama.
 
Listen. Why is it so hard to understand…… they moved Bammer to 9 so when UGA beat them, they can move Bammer back to 10. Let it go. It’s a wrap. Miami’s only prayer was BYU losing and Bammer winning.

... my answer would be... let them lmao. The Championship games have been completely useless for ACC and B12. SEC are the ones actually making money from their championship game. Are the rest of the SEC schools going to be down to burn that down for the 5th and lowest ranked SEC team picking up their 3rd loss..... idk.
But its obvious if you keep them IN that Chamionship games have ZERO meaning anymore anyways. So... whats the point of continuing them? Id rather go to 16 teams and eliminate Conf Champ games. otherwise just leave it how it is have the conference change their tie breakers. Make it minimum requirements to get in CFP like 10-11 P4 games, and it'd all be good.

Problem is the folks making the decisions dont care about that and are rewarding Bama for being in the sec and punishing us for being in the acc. The whole playoff process is a ******* joke. I am beyond disgusted.

Even then it wasn’t happening, that said… we don’t have to let it go…F this.
 
Look, everyone saying they moved Bama to 9 so they could move back to 10 with a loss. Yes, this was the plan

But they didn't think Bama would get boat raced. The game was so incredibly lopsided, much more than the comittee could have imagined.

Yep the question is do you think Bama is better than Miami and why? Do you think Bama is better than ND and why? Exactly they are not better so why put them in. -3 yards rushing and barely 200 passing, rb hurt, almost lost auburn and SCe, got beat at home by Oklahoma. All in the last 6 weeks. Why should you get in?
 
One thing is gonna die after this cycle, either the Conference Championship game or Quality Non-Conference games. Neither of these set a good precedent
