If this is what it comes down to….

We destroyed FSU — at their house — in a prime time game. Garbage time touchdowns make that scoreboard look closer than it should have.

FSU obliterated Bama.

We share a common opponent. This is the argument we need to make now.

They should have never moved Bama up to #9 last week after barely beating a coachless 1 SEC win Auburn team.

They knew that they were doing..this is the EXACT scenario they were planning for..

It was.

With that said, how do you argue against the point I just made.

They can’t.

But then again, they don’t mind looking stupid.
 
Two losses and two one score games to 5 win teams in their last 5 games. And the other game was an 11 point win against a 7 win team without a coach.

But most importantly, they just lost to the team that was supporting their entire argument. The Georgia win was all they really had to cancel out the FSU loss.

I don't think they foresaw the whooping Bama just got though. I certainly didn't think UGA would roll the tide like that.

If that should happen, on Monday Sankey announces the end of the SEC Championship game and the first 4th place SEC game between the 4th and 5th place teams in the SEC every year on championship week. The thought being the top 3 SEC teams should be able to get in most years without needing to enhance their resumes with a championship game and this gives an opportunity to guarantee a 4th team every year. (Probably have 2 games if the NCAA would let him - one between 4th and 7th team in SEC and another against the 5th and 6th team in the SEC.)

I think we’re ****ed. I hate to say it, but I’ve been doing this for too long. As have you. As criminal as it is, I think we see ND 9, Bama 10, Miami 11.

They’ll say hey, Bama did drop! 9 to 10! We punished them. But they got the #1 seed in the mighty $EC, we aren’t gonna drop them out.

And it’s gonna make 98% of the people in the country puke. Bama has looked like total **** for the last going on 2 months. But I don’t think it matters due to the policitcs. You?
