Then you would believe Field Marshall Bernard Montgomery is the greatest commander of WWII. He was given an inordinate amount of resources compared to the commanders and formations he faced in battle and Emmert, I mean Churchill, had his back at the top of the command structure.

This. Absolute travesty that there are 5 power conferences and only 3 are in the playoff. You shouldn’t be in the playoff unless you win your conference.

Why? The PAC 12 and Little 10 screwed themselves! They suck...can't field a playoff caliber team, except for Ohio Taint, and they blew it this year against Iowa

I think it's fairly clear. How did any of the teams that were in the top 4 before the conference championship have anything to gain by playing that game? In Wisconsin's case, it cost them a chance at the playoff. Same with Auburn. So you're better off being the number 5 or 6 team in the rankings that isn't playing in a conference championship than the number 3 or 4 team that has a chance to lose? A team like Auburn that is in it's conference championship gets jumped by Bama that isn't? Alabama may be the better team, but they didn't have to play a huge game to get there. Doesn't seem like the best system.
 
Just an awful Champ game. Living on the east coast I will not watch more than the 1st quarter before hitting the sheets

UGA got to take a play out of alabaga's approach to clemson and pass out wide to rbs and get them on the edge early and often and also go down the field and challenge that defense vertically

this may be using the pass to set up the run

Not the total NCAA; there was an NCAA enforcement committee member, who unbeknownst to Emmert, boldly confronted Saban at the Mal. M. Moore Athletic Facility on campus. A video of the encounter was just recently smuggled out of Tuscaloosa by a man who swam the Perdido river to elude the Alabama Border Guards, uhh, Highway Patrol:
