This is a list of Bama and Auburn transfers

1. The player must have remaining college eligibility in 2016. We're not counting guys who transferred five years ago and are now in the pros, like Christian Westerman or Phillip Sims.

2. No one who has been dismissed from Alabama or Auburn is eligible, so no Jovon Robinson or Charles Baldwin. [Could create a whole other roster.]

We are just about done taking other peoples scraps. **** Gluten for that, but thank God PMR can have us back VERY soon.

i actually think the opposite is true. i think all the transfers are a product of a winning program & environment that weeds out the weak or inadequate.

when we are up & humming under Richt, i fully expect us to have plenty of transfers as well. and consistently reload with incoming classes filled with studs ready to fill those spots.

25+25+25+25+redshirts = a lot more than 85, even accounting for underclassmen going pro.

Bama has a lot of transfers leave because they ""oversign" more than 85 scholarship players. Not exactly sure how the NCAA rules on this work. But once the school year begins they have to actually get down to 85 scholarships by cutting about 15 people. And those 15 people all transfer somewhere else.

It's a pretty absurd NCAA loophole that they use.

As long as they keep signing a top 3 class it will not matter IMO. There's a reason these guys are transferring. They are getting passed up on the depth chart and don't want to ride the pine. Every once in a while, a guy like Maurice Smith may hurt a little as he was expected to start at the nickel. Otherwise, they will get replaced by the next 4/5 star recruit coming in.

Right now they are consistently a Top 3 recruiting class every year. The cream rises to the top. 5 star guys at Alabama are not getting beaten out by 2 star guys. They are getting beaten out by 5 star and 4 star guys. Plenty of talent on board. Saban is getting the athletes and training them up. No idea what's going on at Auburn. Outside of Of their head coach, no clue who is even there.

That's what saves those scvmbags!! There day will come believe that!

I think the SEC implemented a rule a couple years back to stop this. I'm pretty sure they can only sign a specific number of recruits now.

Anyway, this will probably catch up to Auburn at some point. But as long as Saban is at Bama, they could not care less about 99% of the these transfers. Just means they weren't good enough.

They are replacing these transfers with other '5 star' talent. They won't have an issue. Saban shows the door to every bust or overrated player very quickly and doesn't let 2nd stringers go without a fight (Maurice Smith). Looking at it from just a business point of view, it actually leads to more success as the dead weight is dropped ASAP and replaced with talented players every year. Most schools honor their obligations to recruits (bust or not) and try to work with the players they spent tons of resources to recruit. If you take the human element out, Saban is very efficient. I wouldn't let my son sign at his school tho.. just sayin
