I was basically saying I don't like air raid not that Gase runs it. That just a style of offense I don't like.

I said Gase because I was referring to the "young hot shot" offensive coach that everyone wants. I know he doesn't run an air raid.

Ok but that's one coach though. Sean McVay is younger than Gase and has the #2 offense and a 12-3 team.

This is why Matt Campbell lost by 7 in ‘17, 10 this year, and why Monken/Army took them to OT. If you have a well coached team that know their assignments then you play a different variety of zones to take away windows and bring pressure.

Campbell and Iowa State beat OU last year - otherwise I agree with everything you are saying. Campbell should get a serious look from us.

Your point still stands. Campbell’s teams are consistently competitive and/or winning against programs with far superior talent and tradition. The transformation in Ames has been remarkable. I truly think this guy checks every box a program wants in a coach.
