A team loaded with talent and depth at every unit. Except QB. 2nd year Saban has the non QB Hurts in there.

He is a second rate QB, at best. Seems their whole game plan has been to mitigate the QB position.

Why? Does he just want a running, athletic QB and a game not reliant on passing/good QB play?

Would we be any better with Hurt than Rozier?

Nah, Rosier's better than Hurts...at least Rosier's somewhat competent at throwing it between the hashes.

But like us, their true freshman backup (Tua Tagovailoa) may be better than their starter, they say He has a legit shot at the starting job next year.

Their back up is better and will probably start next year. Probably best QB in country.

Hurts is a **** of a runner. Can’t take that away from him.

IMO its only a matter of time until Tua takes over. Kid has the goods.

For all their great players Bama has really, really bad PKs.

Bagley is Jan Stenerud compared to recent Tide PKs.

No, because we don't have and Alabama offensive line. They're gameplan is not to mitigate QB play, it's to line up man to man and win every individual battle with recruiting superior athletes. Safest, most boring **** ever.

Always had questions about his throwing ability. Probably starting because he doesn’t turn the ball over.

Hurts in two years in college has never completed less than 61% of his passes in a season.
Rosier has completed 53% in his fourth year.

I don’t think Hurts is too good but this just shows that our fans can’t evaluate our own players. Hurts started for a national championship team in his freshman season. Malik was an afterthought three years in.

Hurts is the reason they're losing this game right now. Missed an open td; limited playbook bc they can't trust him; bailing out of the pocket too early on third down. Not sure he's a guy who can come from behind against a good defense. Bama in trouble.
