Bama Fan Flavor

That's what I always find so ironic about the Saban love fest. There will never be another dynasty like ours. Sure, they can put up great numbers and win championships, but they'll never do what we did, the way we did because the conditions are completely different now.
Saban is 158-16 since his first year at Bama (includes losses in playoffs/NC game). This is in the SEC West, which has been dominate. I love Miami & the way we did it.. it was unique. But this dynasty is something we haven't seen in modern day football.

We have nothing to lose and everything to gain. We win they struggle for a NC or are denied. It is a non-conference game. If we win we leap up the polls, they drop to an area they haven't been in for years. I want an error-free, injury-free game and a true Hurricane effort. Even in our heyday we lost a few but the effort was always supreme. If we play true Hurricane football we can do it. Just no Terry Porter's please! :11263272045-489f4f7972-o:

But there's nothing special about spending a ****ton of money and succeeding as a state school with a huge budget and large booster base from previous success.

There is from taking underrated players from places nobody wanted to recruit and building a dynasty that meant something to the community as well as alumni. Especially as a small private school that had given serious consideration to dropping football just a few years prior.

More than likely we do lose by a decent margin. But they play the games for a reason

Miami & Bama were ahead of their times. Eventually people caught on & mimicked/replicated it. Miami being small-private is unique (although we're twice the size of ND) but Bama's success is special. We'll just have to A2D. No worries.

lol at the hot take that they COULD HAVE won the 89 sugar bowl. that score was MUCH closer than the reality of the game. We smoked them and we could have/should have smoked them by much more.
Unfortunately...and I F-ing hate to say it... the one poster was right about what should have been 2 turnovers...both would have been overturned if it was today....

We just need to BEAT our man that’s it , let him know ALL DAY LONG your going to get mounted.

Not rocket science do this and we WIN.

Back in the day we hand a 230 pound nose tackle Fitzpatrick he played over 330 Cornhuskers OL , he in my book the greatest exhibition of intestinal fortitude of PASSION against the st that time the greatest OL ever assembled in CFB history at that time.

I’ll bet you he won most of the battles HE REFUSED TO BE BEATEN HE REFUSED TO LOSE HE REFUSED TO LOSE.

Prepare for battle with all your blood all your love all your families love .

REFUSE TO GO SILENTLY INTO THE NIGHT BEATEN.

Margret Thatcher queen of England yo her generals before the Falkland Island war.

DON’T COME BACK UNLESS YOU BRING VICTORY WITH YOU and she walked out of the room.

I'm not taking anything away from them, just saying the conditions are different. There's no disagreement on my part.

Tell that to UGA and Kirby Smart, lol.
Try as they might, those poor ******** can't buy even a fraction of that sort of success.

You know who should be furious, Texas, Michigan and Tennessee. Every advantage in the world and can't do **** with it. TBH Uif is creeping up there too.

No one thought Buster Douglas stood a chance..as round 5, 6 and 7 came it was then Tyson realized he was in a fight.

Just keep it close 10 pts of less going into the 4th and you got a chance

This is the exact scenario I was thinking about just yesterday.
