I was no fan of him here, but maybe now he can evaluate himself and improve as a coach. He’s a young guy, so he can still carve out a good long term career. If not, he’s made some good money to set himself up for the next step.

To be fair though, he was calling a defense that largely wasn't his. He didn't run the same defense at his previous stop and was essentially trying to do what Diaz would do with Diaz's scheme. I don't believe in Diaz's defense, not one bit.

So like another said, it'll be interesting to see what happens to him at LSU. They obviously see something or heard something in their interview that they liked. Say what you will, that's a legit landing spot and he's going to have a ton of talent to work with.

I kind of feel he was set up to fail as would anyone who would come here to run a Diaz defense. You're never going to do it as well as the author of it and if it doesn't work, you're the fall guy.
