First half baker was sending all kinds of blitzes into the a gap when the Uva qbs were breaking contain and getting the edge over and over and over and over.

they could not pass the ball and we blitzed them like we were playing a pocket passer. It seemed like I was watching a different game than baker was.

It's the American way for some. Give friends and family leadership positions and keep them there even when they prove they suck at the job. When I watch baga and clemson it's clear that outside of stacking talent they have pro caliber coaching and schemes on both sides. Meantime Winston Moss has all the traits we need, but Baker keeps showing he's grad assistant caliber.

Not necessarily disagreeing with you, but on the good side of it we only gave up 14. Yes, I know Virginia is trash! We only scored 19. Our running game is abysmal. Where is this high octane offense I keep hearing about that should be putting up 50+ on teams like Virginia?

If we would have scored 30 points or more the OP would’ve never posted this thread. Our issues are on offense. Our O-line is D2 material. They are the reason this game was close. If Al doesn’t fall asleep we only give up 7. Baker wasn’t the issue this week. We drop 40 or more with a good line.

this defense although very gimmicky is good enough to stop 80% of college offenses because the QBs and skill players aren’t good enough to take advantage

it’s the other 20% (Clemsons, UNCs of the world) that will carve our defense up.

Is it really coaching or the we have dumb lazy FB players....you can teach technique and scheme, but when the game starts and being mentally prepared to do your job no matter the what is thought is what makes a FB player. **** they teach these kids to tackle without the helmet but we still do.....so miss me with the coaching/scheme bs we have lazy dumb kids on in the defensive back field!@

We are not firing manny any time soon. Not when revenue is at an all time low with the pandemic. I think most schools will hold off on any changes like that
