Bain making serious gains

These are thy types of kids that help change the culture of a program super fast. Kid comes in works his *** off and is all business and makes everyone around him take notice. Mario is getting high character kids and it gives me a lot of hope for the future.

You are correct the late Rev. White was a great guy. Had the please of going to school with him for four years.
The only time I saw someone get the best of him was his freshman year going against Mark May. Of course May was a senior and pretty good himself.
It was so much fun to see Reggie and Jerome Brown play along side one.
another .
I'm hoping for 30-35 snaps for Bain this season. Him and Taylor will be force.....

Bain is going to be a 1st rounder and a Pro Bowler. Rating him 4 stars with how dominant he was in high school was just dumb, everybody knew it was dumb then and everybody knows it was dumb now. This is a 5 star athlete no question.

Also, how the **** did those old Eagles teams ever lose a game? That defense had crazy talent with Jerome and Reggie White, and the offense had Randall Cunningham and Keith Jackson. But I don't remember them ever winning more than 10 games a season with all that talent.

I thought 275 was a good playing weight. 405 is a bit excessive IMO. I guess Mario wants to get bigger but at what cost?? That can’t be healthy. Just thinking. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s dumb but him not being a 5 star has more to do with his measurables than anything else. He wasn’t 6’5. Much like we don’t see 5’9 receivers routinely ranked as 5 stars. Along with production and testing numbers they have a certain height and weight threshold for 5 star ratings because they want the 5 star rating to eventually tie to a first round grade.

But it hasn’t been that way for a while… the NFL cares about results. The unicorn, Aaron Donald has helped with that because he was at the time nowhere near the “idea” size for a DT. There are examples at other positions but he’s the first one that jumps out to me.

As for those Eagles… Buddy Ryan was their coach. And while there was alot of good about him I also remember him or the team leaving you scratching your head wondering why the **** did they do that? When it mattered most

We're going to have at least 2 Freshmen AAs in Bain and Mauigoa. They're just built differently.

That’s what 5 star talent is like. Yes Bama and Georgia have great S&C programs but it’s a **** of a lot easier to build elevate athletes when they have elite freak genetics to begin with. This is why you want 5 stars over developmental 3 stars.

For 20 years we been trying to turn turds into diamonds. Time to get the elite freaks and then see what a true S&C and nutrition program can do for them.

It’s that they are REALLY good at football AND work to get better… winning and talent will change the program…
