Bain (is not injured)

His pressure rate is why he'll be a top 5 pick and that's what matters for our future recruiting, but **** it would be nice to at least have a hold called, that safety would have finished the game early

He’s such a dominant player, you’ve probably seen some media outlets hyping him as one of the best players in the country and even arguing he should be in the Heisman race. I agree.

It’s insane how close he is to having a bunch more sacks, ALWAYS just missing by inches. I noticed his frustration last night, he knows he’s thisclose all day.

Like if he had housed that ND interception and had a few more sacks, he might actually be in the Heisman race.

This is just a ***** and giggles thread, love the guy and he’s incredible. But you know he really is so close to being on posters in everybody’s room.

The game has changed when it comes to evaluating DLs. When you read analytic articles on ESPN like from Bill Barnwell and co, they always talk about some stat that is known by initials and a + sign. Because offenses are spread and air raid, the ball gets out of the QBs hands pretty quick. So teams that have DEs that can still rush the passer and make the QB throw off his back foot are the ones with a good defense. Win rate, how fast they are get off the line are now just as valuable as sacks. Bain is a superstar.
