I'm ashamed for a lot of things football is becoming. But flag football is high up on that list. I get it, it's for the fans. But what fans does the NFL think their catering to with that.

For me I wouldn't take him as a #1 cause in general it shows how far away they are from being competitive. A QB like him has a high floor but a low ceiling if that makes sense. I'd trade out of the pick and get multiple high picks back. They're not a team one person away or even close. They need an influx of talent & to me this QB class is very bland. I'd go later round with QB and use those earlier picks to hit on high upside possibly generational talent. If I was them I'd consider a lineman or someone to play opposite Max. Mendoza is very smart kid and he'll eventually adapt to the speed of the game and to multiple looks mid snap. But it's not gonna be a quick learning curve in MY OPINION. Dolphins have a far worse problem because tuas contract and there's contract have them with zero room on books to figure anything out & a pick where they just gotta take best available. More than likely a wide receiver or corner. You just gotta hope ewers keeps picking up the game. Cause you're probably two seasons away from having cap space to get frisky with.

Mel kiper is still hearing sheuder is going first overall and it's racism keeping him back... Dude is COMPLETELY out of the loop in NFL circles for several years now. Only thing floating that clowns name into relevance is still just these tools at ESPN. I know for a fact it's not the giants saying we love Fano. Wait till sisi does this combine. He's going top 3. He is gonna MURDER this combine. Kid was raised for this even more than he was for football. He's the epitome of a workout monster.

I’m not arguing any of that. Just stating that stituations like that happen. Draft pundit has someone high on their overall board but has that player going lower in their mock. Post had nothing specially to do with Kiper.

He is 100% the type of player Brad Holmes loves, and I would not be surprised that if he somehow drops to the back half of the top 10, he doesnt try to jump in front of Cinci. Would hurt my soul though.
