Bain at combine?

He's a game manager who can make a good amount of the throws on the tree. But he's not someone you build a team around. He's the perfect complimentary piece. You put him on a team where he's the whip cream instead of the cake. As y'all know I been talking good about him since nephew was at cal. But gotta be realistic with managing expectations if he's yalls teams QB. Not gonna make the mistake of assuming he's gonna be a building block for a **** team. If that's the case expect a top 10 pick yearly.
So if you are a a needy team how do you go about it if the top qb available isn’t generational. You have to select a qb, right? Even if it’s higher than he plays you can’t not miss out on trying to see what he has? Because if you build the roster and have a duck at qb you’ll win just enough to never get a generational qb but if you are cheeks and pick first and Mendoza is available don’t you have to take him? I ask this as a Dolphins fan after Marino. I’ll hang up and listen.

Bain went up against TAMU, OSU, IU, Ole Miss and ND this year, all those teams have NFL caliber OL with NFL measurables and Bain made their lives **** - inside, outside, double team, TRIPLE team and it didn't matter. Bain isn't some finesse edge, or one-trick pony, not being schemed free, the man lines up and ruins your day whether it's run or pass. It will show you how many bad GMs there are if they overthink this pick and let him drop.
Hey GM's don't make this difficult. Just put on the tape and see for your own eyes. If that's not enough then it explains who so many NFL teams have terrible front offices.
